The role of English proficiency in Success in Australia

I came across this article by Australian media organization SBS recently and I thought it was a wonderful showcase in what having great English can do not only to create a career but also to integrate in the Australia community.

It basically covers the journey of skilled migrants and international students to Australia and the role of English-language proficiency in securing their target job faster. Many of these skilled migrants are earning well above the median salary just a few months after settlement – landing jobs in sectors with skill shortages- and contributing to Australian society and making Australian friends.
